Trip to the art store

On Friday night the boy and I went down to our local art store in search of a few random things. We got talking to Effie Dee who works there. She's also doing the Sketchbook Project, and had so many lovely, helpful things to tell us, including convincing me that I should buy a roll of Stabilo colour felt-tip markers  that were on sale (although I ended up buying them at Big W for cheaper...shhhh). They are really rich colours and don't go through the Moleskine paper too much either.

She also showed me how to make your own little watercolour travel box using an empty Altoid tin and some blu tack. Very industrious!
