This book is handmade and bound (by me) and the theme is 'Around the world' because the artists who have already signed up are scattered around the globe. Each artist gets a bio page, and three blank pages to fill in. I'm also asking that they stick an old stamp in the back, with the aim of filling the whole inside cover. I've started the journal off:
The artists can paint, draw, collage, or do whatever suits them, as long as it has something to do with the theme around the world / international / mail.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea and if i was sure i could do it inside 2 weeks i would love to participate but am finding it hard to do all that i'd like art-wise as it is unfortunately (drat having to work 9-5 for a living-totally eats into my art time!)

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun project, I just don't have set times to be home etc. now that we are retired so I would hate to commit and not be able to follow through as we do take off spur of the moment. I will enjoy seeing the progress of the journal though. It has a really fun start.
