Fashion Friday: Tea party

The prompt for Day 8 of Inspired Doodles was Tea Time. While we still have more of winter to get through, here in Australia, I'm already dreaming about Spring and garden parties with girlfriends.

My lovely boyfriend gave me some gouache a while ago, and I hadn't really played around with it until now. It's loads of fun, I love the flat, matte look of it!

My home scanner wasn't quite big enough to capture her shoes, sorry about that.

I was having so much fun with the gouache that I kept on going with the Tea Time theme and painted a bright tea-cup using a gorgeous color palate featured on my friend's blog, Current Observations, as inspiration.
