A few of my extra special favorite pieces. Including work by Heather Smith Jones and Katie Rodgers from Paper Fashion.

beautiful art wall!
ReplyDeleteI keep mine displayed around my desk, but as the collection grows I'll move on to the little wall next to it. Your wall is so full of beautiful works ~ I can see the inspiration you must get from gazing there before hitting the keys at your fancy typewriter. :)
ReplyDeleteI keep a huge wall of inspiration... i seem to have more ephemera & inspirational images than i do wall... Will share a bit of it when I get around to posting my new studio set up.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see your wall Jess. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't put mine up yet, but I really should as I have some pretty wonderful items. What did you use to adhere them to the wall? I'm happy to see a few of my pieces up there. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm actually just using blutack. Or rather, the white version of blutack, which doesn't seem to leave any marks at all. We're in a rental, so I have to pull them all down every time we have inspections. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool! I started one, which actually includes your awesome "Daleks need love too" picture! I'm considering getting another one in the future, I think it'd be a super unique gift for my dad!
ReplyDeleteYou are gathering quite a lovely collection! It's fun to see my piece there, thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that's so cool! I have never seen my work on someone else's wall!
ReplyDeleteYour wall looks awesome. Now I feel like I need to do my wall!
I don't have an art wall... but I'm about to move house - into my very own home (for the first time ever)... maybe I'll dedicate a piece of wall for this! Thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteHi Rie, you totally should! My wall makes me so happy. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection. I'm a huge fan of Heather's work too, seeing her piece and all the others would put you in a great mood every day. : )
ReplyDeletesweet! I like it! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks so clean and orderly! :)
I used to keep paper journals that I would plaster with all the inspirational quotes and images that I would come across... (I have a whole box of these that I considered publishing) I've since expanded and now I have a whole art room that I plaster with my creative outburts :)
Great wall - when will you ever know how to stop? Before you know it you'll have done the whole house! (Wouldn't that be wonderful!). You have great taste in art.
ReplyDeleteHi Anna,
ReplyDeleteSo far it's contained to the area above my desk, but there is definite danger of it curling around the corner soon! :)
That looks fantastic! I have framed a lot of my favorite art works but have yet to decide where they'll go. I like your idea of simply using bluetack, I'm nailing mine to the wall so that's why I'm taking so long to decide :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the blutack because as I get new pieces I can move things around really easily. :)
ReplyDeleteLoving the art wall...quite a collection indeed. Nice blog too by the way I just discovered it via your comment on Notemakers penpal post.
