The theme for my Sketchbook Project book this year is portraits of some of my favorite TV characters. I'm trying out a variety of styles to challenge myself a little.
Do you recognize the first portrait in my book? She's Max from 2 Broke Girl$, done in watercolor, gouache and ink. I was going for a flat, almost cartoony feel, and you can watch the time lapse of me painting her below.
